Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
At ROYEIR LTD ("Royeir", "we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (royeir.com) and tell you about your privacy rights.
1. The Data We Collect
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:
- Identity Data includes first name and last name.
- Contact Data includes email address, telephone and mobile number, and the address of the property where work is quoted or carried out.
- Enquiry Data includes the service you are interested in, window counts and measurements, any message you send us, and any photographs you choose to upload to support a quote.
- Marketing Data includes your preferences for receiving marketing from us and a record of any request you have made to stop, including when you made it.
- Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location.
- Usage Data includes information about how you use our website, products and services.
2. How We Use Your Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you (e.g., providing an accurate quote, arranging an installation, or contacting you about work in progress).
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where you have asked us about our services, which is the basis on which we may send you marketing about similar services by email, SMS or telephone, in every case with a way to stop.
- Where you have given your consent, which is the basis on which we send marketing to anyone who has not enquired with us.
- Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Enquiries and customer records are stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system. The CRM holds the details you submit through our forms, your marketing preferences, notes about the work quoted or carried out, and a record of the messages we have sent you. It is hosted on secure servers and access is restricted to Royeir staff who need it to carry out their role.
4. Marketing and Automated Messages
If you have asked us for a quote or bought from us, we may send you marketing about similar window film services by email, SMS and telephone. This includes offers, company updates and requests to review your experience. You do not need to tick anything for this, and you can stop it at any time. Our enquiry forms carry a box you can tick if you would rather we did not, and ticking it makes no difference to the quote or the service you receive.
If you have never enquired with us, we will not send you marketing unless you have specifically told us we can.
We also use an automated SMS service. After an enquiry or a completed installation, our system may send you text messages without a member of staff sending each one individually. This includes requests to leave a review of your experience, along with updates and offers.
You can opt out at any time. Every marketing message we send includes a way to stop receiving them: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at info@royeir.com to be removed. Whichever way you tell us, we stop on every channel, not just the one you used. Opting out of marketing does not affect messages we need to send you about work you have booked, and it does not affect the service you receive from us.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of third party service providers who process data on our behalf and are only permitted to use it to provide their service to us:
- Formspark delivers the enquiry forms submitted on this website to us.
- Uploadcare hosts photographs you choose to upload with a quote request.
- Our SMS provider delivers the text messages described above.
- WebVise provides the analytics described below.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as WebVise analytics) to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent via our Cookie Consent banner. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, including to meet any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Where you have asked us to stop marketing to you, we keep a minimal record of that request so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
8. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. We limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
9. Your Rights
Under data protection law you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy of it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@royeir.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would ask that you contact us first so we have the chance to put things right.
